The 2005 IAMSS Annual Educational Conference was a huge success! There were 111 registrants, the highest ever. The speakers were excellent and the food was great.

A new award, the Distinguished Member Award, was presented to Carol Cairns, CPMSM, CPCS by Nikki Shoemaker, IAMSS President.

The award reads "Illinois Association of Medical Staff Services Distinguished Member Award Presented To Carol S. Cairns, CPMSM, CPCS in recognition of your outstanding contributions in advancing the field of Medical Staff Management and Credentialing April 2005". In presenting the award, Nikki commented "IAMSS is proud that Carol considers Illinois her home. She is the consumate professional and an example to all of us."
