Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years experience in medical staff services of which 1-2 years should be in a leadership role. Must be certified by the National Association of Medical Staff Services.

  TRAINING SPECIALIST

Morrisey seeks a positive, energetic Training Specialist to conduct classroom training for its web-based and client-server based physician credentialing software.

The successful candidate will possess the right blend of technical savvy and interpersonal skills to train healthcare credentialing staff on Morrisey’s physician credentialing software applications.

Responsibilities include:
• Conduct classroom training at customers and at Morrisey offices
• Write training materials and user documentation
• Perform Acceptance tests for new customers

Qualifications:
• Two to Five years professional experience training/supporting healthcare or credentialing software.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Technical Skills
• Strong comfort level with Windows, and web browser technology
• Working knowledge of all supported versions of Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with web-based applications, IIS, .Net, HTML, HL7

The University of Chicago Medical Center is seeking a full-time Credentials Coordinator to manage the medical staff credentialing program and support Medical Staff Organization functions.

Responsibilities include organizing, coordinating and ongoing improvement of a complex credentialing program for physician appointment, reappointment and privileging, processing medical staff applications for appointment and reappointment and ensuring timely review.

Qualifications include Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent education and experience. Knowledge of medical staff administration and credentialing principles normally acquired through 3-5 years of experience in this field. Medical terminology, initiative, decision-making, detail oriented and independent work habits. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with physicians and department staffs and other customers. Excellent PC skills, including Internet and database (ACCESS preferred) experience. We utilize the Morrisey MSO for Windows system.

CREDENTIALING COORDINATOR
ACCELERATED REHABILITATION CENTERS

Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, Chicagoland's leading provider of outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Services, has an immediate career advancement opportunity for a credentialing coordinator at our Billing Office in PLAINFIELD, Illinois.

The Credentialing Coordinator works to ensure all active clinicians have completed applications and credentialing/recredentialing information on file with applicable contracted payers. The coordinator reviews applications, prepares verification letters, and contacts clinical staff and insurance carriers to complete applications. The position requires coordination of contract information between the Business Development Manager, Payor Relations Manager, Reimbursement Manager, local Practice Managers, and Clinical staff.

The position requires submitting appropriate information to payers to obtain assigned provider numbers and identification numbers for use on claim forms to identify the providers with contracts for proper reimbursement according to contract specifications.

The position requires utilizing skills to log information in an organized format, accessible to the reimbursement team and database coordinator. Spreadsheets, task logs, and maintenance logs must be created and managed to record such information for reference and use by the billing department and
contracting team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain credentialing database for professional, clinical staff. Obtain all necessary credentialing information and complete standard applications for new hires and new contracts, per payor specifications.
2. Maintain location listings and directories for local markets and national lists, providing updates to payers as needed.
3. Complete applications and obtain necessary documentation and signatures from clinical staff.
4. Copy agreements and distribute to Payor relations, reimbursement as needed and file in master payer binders.
5. Mail agreements and follow-up until counter-signed agreement is returned.
6. Track website and printed directories to ensure all sites are listed correctly.
7. Provide payors with updates related to new locations, periodic roster updates, and all official notices (address change, remittance change, change in ownership, reporting of malpractice claims, etc)
8. Complete letters, applications, and documentation related to credentialing in a accurate and timely manner.
9. Inform and update Payor Relations and reimbursement with newly assigned and or revised provider numbers.
10. Assist with creation of credentialing tools for MSA business, including written procedures, forms, and exhibits for P&P, as needed.
11. Other duties as assigned by management
